When visiting Glenwood, there are lots of great things to do on and around the property. Check out the lists we’ve made for you to use as a guide when planning your trip.

  • Choose from three screened porches to sit back and relax while watching a passing train. Play a board game, cards or put together a puzzle in the game room.

  • Take a walk down the country road, with little traffic and beautiful scenery.

    Bring your fishing pole and walk or bike to the river, approx 1/4 mile down from house on main road.

    Take a nature walk or build a fire in the fire pit.

    Bring a bike.

  • We have many civil war battle fields in Fredericksburg, Spotsylvania, and Caroline.

    Spend a day walking historic downtown Fredericksburg.

    Take in a concert or race at Dominion Raceway (10 mins).
